Love at first bite, indeed! seems like everybody lurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrves the cochon de lait po-boy. today it was served on a pistolette from the vietnamese bakery dong phuong, and the vendor put a piece of the crispy carmelized corner of the roast in for extra yum.
this sandwich is one of my absolute favorite festival eats (and obviously yours too!) we'll see what rosemary thinks next thursday when she will enjoy her second jazz fest ever. i can't wait!
