so, scraping one's knees accompanies learning to walk. ro has a really icky scrape that i'm fearful is going to become a scar - she keeps falling and knocking the scab off. and i thought lightning never struck the same place twice? (not counting the plot devices in the back to the future movies)

this morning, she was walking to the car in her new keens (new to her - i heart e-bay!) and slipped. and knocked said scab off. we went back in the house to put on a band-aid. went to school. at school, she stumbles and scrapes the band-aid off. yeah.

one of her teachers got her bandaged up, so hopefully, she'll be in better shape this afternoon. and it will probably rain some more. i love new orleans light summer showers...just not the thunderstorms...you know, the ones that cause floods.
