thursday, rosemary made the journey out to the infield for her 2nd jazz fest.
i wanted her to see the goslings at the east pond, but she got tuckered out from all the visiting before we could make it back. grammy took her home early - it looked like we might get a little more rain (we didn't) - but not before getting some yummy festy food (and some snacks from mum):
- raisin bread
- very berry juice box
- meaty white beans
- natchitoches meat pies
she had a blast walking in front of the food booths (no kids allowed in the back - too dangerous) and waving to folks. when we went over to the folk village, my pal dave rodrigue took our picture (thanks dave!) :

this morning, i was up waaay early to make lunch and get to fest on time.
#13:
- ravioli w/ spinach, tomatoes, bacon pesto
- cherry scones
- craisins
- multigrain cheerios
- raisin bread
- carrot rounds
- carrot-orange juice
- very berry juice box
part of that ended up as breakfast because she went in very early as it's a fest day.
hopefully, she'll eat most of it. tonight, she stays w/ grammy again as jer and i are both working pretty late.
will she get back to the festival this weekend? stay tuned (we don't even know yet!)
